What Is An American Persimmon  Tree?

The American persimmon is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree native to the central and eastern United States. It can grow up to 80 feet tall and 35 feet wide, but typically grows up to 20 feet tall. It has a slender trunk and branches, and a grey-brown bark reminiscent of reptilian scales.
