What Is A Pencil pine Tree ? 

Pencil pine (Cupressus sempervirens glauca) is an evergreen coniferous tree native to the Mediterranean region. Also known as Italian cypress,  its name comes from the Latin words meaning "to live forever" and "blue."  Pencil pine is an easy-care ornamental tree that can grow as an upright shrub or tree. Grows up to 15 meters high and 1 meter wide.

1.Cupressocyparis leylandii Leighton's Green-

A fast-growing conifer forming dense cone-shaped trees.

2.Thuja occidentalis:-

How do you care for pencil pine?  

1.Location:-

Pencil pine grows best in full sun, but can also tolerate partial shade or light shade.  

2.Sunlight:-

Pencil pine prefers bright, direct sunlight.  

3.Soil:-

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil enriched with organic compost.  Nutrition: If you want your tree to grow faster, you can feed it with 16-8-8 or 12-6-6 fertilizer. Slow-release or slow-release fertilizers are less likely to damage roots.
